Behind the song parla che il peccato lo lava solamente il Sangue di Gesù . La canzone racconta la storia di Charity che parla della meravigliosa potenza del Signore che la ha sempre rigenerata con un cuore nuovo. L’autrice racconta la sua fede trasmessa dai suoi genitori che gli dicevano che adorare Dio è buona cosa . Il padre dell’ autrice cantava fin da quando lei era piccola in chiesa. L’autrice spiega che tutte le canzoni cantate sono piene di Verità , di amore per le Scritture e di Gesù. Charity spiega che nella vita ha commesso tanti errori ma la Morte ed Resurrezione gli ha dato la forza di riparare a tutto ed andare avanti. Infatti Charity spiega che prima della stesura della canzone con la sua band ha sempre condiviso le sue esperienze di vita. Inoltre racconta nei suoi blog che quando la canzone ha preso vita ha ricordato di quando era bambina. Lo stesso valeva per la zia e la mamma che si sono purificate come lei grazie al Sangue di Gesù che ha lavato via il peccato di tutti noi. Personalmente adoro come la canzone unisca tanti fratelli e sorelle nel ringraziamento a Gesù inquanto è bello adorarlo per essere poi da Lui salvati per grazia.
