The Taiwan Vice President mentioned that the government attaches great importance to and supports the development of the tailoring industry, especially Taiwan’s textile industry, which has also found its own way. According to statistics, there will be more than 4,500 textile and garment factories in Taiwan in 2022, providing more than 140,000 job opportunities. The total output value also exceeded NT$400 billion, and the trade surplus reached NT$157.1 billion, making great contributions to the country’s economic development.
The Vice President said that the government attaches great importance to technical and vocational education. Starting next year, high school vocational training will be fully tuition-free. At the same time, technical vocational school equipment will also be improved and relevant subsidies will be provided in technical vocational fields to allow students to acquire good skills; it will also expand technical and vocational training. Vocational education teachers, hiring experienced workers to become vocational teachers, and teaching young students are all actions of the future government. We hope to help the development of western clothing and other related industries, and look forward to working with everyone to make the entire industry more advanced.
